Nielson Grove Park

One of our very favorite parks in the Provo/Orem area is Nielson Grove park. Right off the freeway in Orem. Nice long paved path for scooters or rollerblades, a big playground with lots of swings for the kids, lots of shade trees to have a picnic under, but our favorite part of Nielson Grove park is the duck pond.



We love the big rocks all around the edge of the pond. A perfect place to sit and feed the ducks without getting all wet.



We happened to run into a couple boys fishing off the rocks and they were kind enough to give us a shot with the fishing rod.



After just a few minutes we actually caught a little goldfish. Just about the most exciting thing to happen to my kids.
